Light for Fire - The Huckster
Yeah yeah, I know what you’re thinking: “You and your melodrama,” rolling of eyes. Well, I figured it was a little apt, and it’s hard to capture that slightly disappointed, slightly embarrassed, sort of stupid feeling one gets. Whatever, I like the song and the verse in the opening few lines, “She said ‘boy you must be crazy / d’you know how many men I’ve bro-ken.” The dual-tracked vocals hum and fill the song wonderfully, it’s a lovely romp through heartbroken self-pity.
I would be amiss if I didn’t acknowledge the one who always gets me to post. Every time I’m down and whining, you somehow say the exact right things, fool. I feel better already.
